Today really is beautiful. The sun shines her way through the day, leafes are blown steadily by the wind and it´s the second day I turned my heat on. My lemon sapling is green and beautiful. I called ‘her’ Rosemary and no, I don´t speak with it.
Today also is Halloween and this party I told you, I thought I know what to wear, but honestly I don´t. But what I know is that I´ll take my camera with me and I´ve got a really, really good autumn recipe for you to cook. Yesterday I put some really well-tasting things together for dinner. It fits perfect for two persons.
Boiled potatoes with pear-vegetables and pumpkin sauce:
You need a quarter hokaido-pumpkin, some cashews, 6 little potatoes, raisins, pepper, salt, nutmeg powder, cinnamon, half a green paprika, one green pear, a pice aubergine (about 5cm, willingly more, but that´s all I had.), soy yogurt and a hand full of green beans, one great red tomato and two cloves of garlic if you like.
At first I washed the potatoes and cooked them. While the potatoes cooked I chopped the garlic, paprika, pumkin, etc. Then I put pumpkin, one clove of garlic, the cashwes, salt, pepper and nutmeg in one pot with a little bit of water and cooked it all till the pumpkin was cooked by. I added two or three tablespoons of soy yogurt, pureed it all and took of the heat.
Second step, while the sauce is cooking I fried the other clove garlic, paprika, pear and green beans and raisins together in a pan until they´re a little bit brown. At least I added the tomato simmed it with 1 or 2 cups of water and rounded the mix with cinnamon, salt and pepper.
All is ready? Enjoy!
